Hi, my name is Oscar González Luna.
I’m a filmmaker/artist and producer working in film and animation.
I’m drawn to media as a space for curiosity and experimentation, where techniques, tones and mediums can shift freely. Narratively, I’m drawn to atmosphere and texture.
My work spans animated & mixed-media commercials developed in collaboration with teams and clients across the world.
I founded Hombre de Carbono, a production company focused on Latin American auteur and genre-driven long-form narratives with international reach.
Our first feature, The Tears of Bael, was showcased at Blood Window at Marché du Film in Cannes, is premiering at GIFF, and is scheduled for theatrical release in 2027, and has been featured in Variety, LatAm Cinema, and Produ.
I enjoy music, cooking, the water, the mountains and traveling.
